Common Questions Regarding Our Buying and Selling Process

  • Where Are You Located?

Our address is 1351 SW Wilshire #101 Burleson, TX 76028. We are on the corner of Wilshire and John Jones next to Starbucks in Burleson.

  • What Are Your Hours?

    Monday – Saturday from 10-6.

  • Are Appointments Required?

No appointment is necessary; just come in at your convenience.

  • How Long Does It Typically Take to Sell?

Selling time depends on the item and the amount you bring in. On average, customers are in and out within ten minutes. The more items you have, the longer it will take.

  • Do You Buy Silver-Plated Jewelry?

Unfortunately, not. Silver plate is just a layer of silver on top of non-precious metal.

  • What Is Holloware?

Holloware is sterling silver flatware or silver-plated flatware that is either hollow in the center of the handles or has plaster and a wooden rod in the center once it is all peeled away.

  • How Do You Tell the Difference Between Silver Plate and Sterling Silver Flatware?

Most companies made two separate lines, one of sterling flatware and one of silver-plated flatware. Most of the time, silver flatware will be labeled 925, Sterling, 900, 830, etc., as well as picture hallmarks. Silver plated is typically marked A1, A2, or A3, amongst other things. To be 100% sure, we always recommend coming in and letting us look.

  • How Much Do You Pay on Items I Bring in to Sell?

Prices change daily based on spot prices as well as supply and demand. Kitco.com is an excellent resource for tracking silver and gold spot prices.

  • Do You Buy Coins Just for Precious Metal Content?

No. We specialize in US coins from 1970 and before. We don't buy all coins from those dates, but our specialties lie here. We consider the coin's date, condition, and mint when purchasing. We also sell coins in-store, so you have an idea of what we buy them for and what we sell them for.

  • What Is the Difference Between 18K, 14K, 10K, Etc.?

That's the amount of precious metal content, a.k.a. gold, in the piece. The higher the karat, the more gold content.

  • Do You Buy Diamonds?

Absolutely. Unfortunately, lab-grown diamonds have dropped the diamond market value, but we always consider the diamond's carat, color, cut, and quality when pricing your stones. We also have jewelry in store to see how much we sell diamond jewelry for.

  • Do You Pawn?

    No, we do not.

  • Do You Pay Cash?

Yes. We can also pay you in check if you prefer.

  • Do You Do Jewelry Repairs?

Yes, on most items. We do not work on watches. For watch batteries, we recommend Batteries & Bulbs just down the road. We send the item out for fixing, and it takes approximately two weeks to get your repair back.

  • What Type of Payments Do You Take?

On jewelry, we take credit, debit, PayPal, checks, and cash. On bullion and coins, we accept cash, cashier's check after verifying the cashier's check with your bank, debit under $500 with a 3% additional charge, and regular checks. With regular checks, it has to clear before you can pick up the merchandise.
